Cagena exudes sheer quality, she is incredibly fast yet careful, and also appears to possess an enormous amount of power. In spite of the fact that this mare is full-blooded, she is a pleasure to ride. Father Calvino Z was also a fantastic jumper and seems to have passed these qualities on to his offspring, undiminished. In spite of the fact that he was not used to servicing a large number of mares, Calvino Z has already managed to produce very attractive progeny.
His son California was approved last year by the KWPN for stud service. The valuable blood from Pilot was added via the mother’s father, Pageno. With her excellent reflexes, Cagena has a very bright future as a jumper, and will be able to develop to become a true winner in the ring, in short, a top athlete to be reckoned with.
