December 2014: Selected for Holger Hetzel Auction
October 2015: International 1.40m debut with Maurice Tebbel (GER)

‘This is a real power house’, was the first thing selector Teus van den Brink said about Crispo. This son of Contendro I displays a lot of showjumping potential and seems a horse for the future. Sire Contendro I is a half-brother to the Grand Prix showjumping stallion Caretano and one of the best breeding Contender sons. His eldest offspring are doing very well at Grand Prix level, such as Codex One, Constantin B and Callahan.

Crispo is a half-brother to the 1.40m level showjumping horse Acorada K (by Acorado I). They are both out of I-Cleopatra F, who, like the top-class Grand Prix horses Chatman, Capriola van de Helle and Russel, descends from Corofino.
Grandam B-Ramiro Girl (by Ramiro) jumped at 1.30m level and is a half-sister to the international showjumping stallions Ramiro’s Son I and II (Ramiro), ZfdP stallion Delta’s Bubka (Pik Bube) and two state premium mares. The same family also produced the 1.60m level showjumping horse Ramila (Ramiro’s Son II).
