The 8-yr-old international showjumping stallion Carambole is considered a promising sire. His first crop showed above average jumping talents and one of these is this Elve. The mare is very pleasant to ride, fast in her manners and seems very careful. Her dam, the elite-awarded Ulve, also had great jumping talent but due to an injury was soon retired from the sport. She is by the preferent-awarded stallion Namelus R, same as the top-class showjumping horses Triple X (Ben Maher), Tantalus (Jody van Gerwen), Utopia (Henk van de Pol) and T.Sellie (Joy Lammers).
Grandam Nalve (by Burggraaf) jumped at 1.30m level and is sister of two national showjumping horses and the 1.60m level Real Eagle (Robert Puck). The pedigree goes back via Burggraaf and Julio Mariner xx to the equally influential sires Almé and Amor. Close relatives are the Olympic showjumping horse Don Porfirio (Antonio Chedraui) and the 1.50m level Senorita (Femke van den Bosch).
