As a son of the top-class sire Cornet Obolensky, the expectations of Kristallic SMH are high and he displays a lot of talent. He jumps fast off the ground, with a beautiful bascule, carefulness and tons of scope. Because of his age Kristallic SMH is not yet very experienced, but it looks like he will be well able to tackle the highest courses.
Grandam Vribalia SHB was an international jumper herself at 1.40m level under Chris Pratt and she is a half-sister to the international 1.50m level showjumping horse Bybalia SMH (Cardento) under Jeffrey Fields (USA), the 6-yr-old international 1.35m level Ibalius SMH (Everglade VDL) and the 1.30m placed Abalia SMH (Chin Chin) who won the 2008 National Free Jumping Championship. This Balia line also supplied the KWPN stallion Impala SMH (Zambesi) and the 1.45m level horse Friso SMH (Bugatti VDL) ridden by Marlon Modolo Zanotelli (BRA).
