Proceeds bronze statue at Sale of the Rising Stars to KiKa Foundation

Traditionally the Sale of the Rising Stars starts of with an opening art piece on Saturday January 21 at Indoor Drachten. Proceeds of this piece will go to a charity for childhood cancer research. For the second year in a row artist Jacqueliene van der Veer gives away a magnificent bronze statue in order to benefit the Dutch cancer foundation KiKa.

Gringo again very impressive in stallion competition

The five-year-old KWPN licensed stallion Gringo (Catoki), to be auctioned on Saturday, January 21 at Sale of the Rising Stars, was again very impressive at the KWPN / KNHS stallion competition yesterday. Just like in Ermelo he jumped double clear at 1.20m level and he finished in the top-5. He was ridden by Dennis van den Brink.

London: 7-yr-old Eurvette O 10th in 1,45m class

The only seven-year-old mare Eurvette O (Douglas x Manhattan), sold at Sale of the Rising Stars, became tenth in a 1.45m class on Friday at the CSI5 * Olympia Horse Show in London. A great result for such a young horse!

Constance wins JumpingClash Challenge round in Madrid

The promising mare Constance (Indoctro x Animo), sold at the 2013 Sale of the Rising Stars, won the 2nd round of the 1.45m JumpingClash Challenge at CSI5* Madrid. She increased her winnings with 5,370 euros.

The KWPN licensed stallion Gringo (sire Catoki), one of our auction horses, finished 4th in the first qualifier of the KWPN Stallion Competition in Ermelo. He jumped double clear in the 1.20m class for 5-year-olds with Dennis van den Brink.

The seven-year-old mare Evalien (Ustinov), purchased by Hans Brugman at the Sale of the Rising Stars, performs successfully at 1.40m level under Steven Veldhuis. Tonight she finished sixth in the international 1.40m Medium Tour final at Indoor Wierden.

De zesde editie van de Sale of the Rising Stars is gisteravond op Indoor Drachten afgesloten met een omzet van 656.000 euro. De gemiddelde prijs van de dertien springpaarden van Teus van den Brink kwam uit op 50.462 euro. “Hoewel ik hoopte op een paar knallers in de veiling, zoals vorig jaar, is de veiling in doorsnee goed verlopen."
