Every year around 43,000 people die from cancer in The Netherlands and this disease is the number one killer here. Less cancer, more cures and improving the quality of life for cancer patients. That is the goal of KWF.
Teus van den Brink, founder of the Sale of the Rising Stars and selector of the young show jumping talents, came in contact with artist Jacquelien van der Veer. She not only makes beautiful bronze sculptures of horses or other animals, but also of children, grandchildren and loved ones.
The Sale of the Rising Stars presents it’s horses under the saddle around 14:30 at Indoor Drachten, after which they can be tested by potential buyers. At 21:30 the auction spectacle starts at the Fries Congrescentrum Drachten.
