For the seventh edition of Sale of the Rising Stars fourteen young jumping talents have been selected. Not only the KWPN licensed stallion Gringo, who won the Dutch championships for four-year-old horses in 2015, but also the Polish champion of the five-year-old horses Grand Beau (Chello III VDL) and VSN-finalist Hooligan RZ (Hooch DK), who finished fifth in the class for four-year-olds at the Zangersheide Festival last summer.
And what about Heliotrop HBZ (Tornesch), a half sibling of the bronze medal winner in Lanaken, Formidable (Carambole) ridden by Willem Greve? Or Golga O (Brainpower), who achieved 3rd prize in the prestigious GMB-final for young horses at Indoor Drachten last year. Floyd (Vermont) even has international experience.

An outright Youtube hit with nearly 8,000 views is Lykke Li Terma Z (Levisto Z x Cornet Obolensky), but also the amazingly jumping Hello Kitty de Levee (Emerald van 't Ruytershof) is immensely popular.
"Of course not all auction horses jump in competition every week, but I'm not afraid to show them ‘en public’. The new owners will also take them to the shows, wont they?", laughs Teus van den Brink. He looks forward to the auction. "Beforehand you do not know how an auction will run, but the horses have been tried unbelievably often. Much more often than other years. They are incredibly fit and some even jump better than a few months ago during the video day.
International horses
The Sale of the Rising Stars can look back at impressive credentials. The bulk of the sold horses are jumping internationally and are achieving good results every week. Untill the auction day the horses can be tried at the stable of Teus van den Brink in Nijkerkerveen. On Saturday January 21 they are presented at Indoor Drachten around 14:30 hour. The auction evening kicks off around 21:30.
