Canate’s father, Calvino Z, has been shown in the United States by Chris Kappler. Calvino Z was also a fantastic jumper and seems to have passed these qualities on to his offspring, undiminished. In spite of the fact that he was not used to service a large number of mares, Calvino Z has already managed to produce very attractive progeny. The mother, Renate descends from the Holsteiner Conway, who in turn was sired by Caretino. A full sister to Renate jumps 1.50 metres in shows in the USA. The Holsteiner stock no. 2004 from which Canate originates has also produced many international jumpers and approved stallions, including Camiro and Landadel, for example. Canate foaled last summer, yet is still a great pleasure to ride. She has a lot of blood, and is extremely careful. Add all of these features to her pleasant nature and Canate is a very promising horse for the future.
