 In spite of his tender age Falandro is a horse that is extremely pleasant to ride. He is cool-headed, co-operative and has a fine jumping manner. He would also do well in hunter classes. His sire Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve already produced numerous fine showjumping horses up to the highest level. Falandro has also inherited good sport genes from his dam. The combination of Concorde x Joost x Rigoletto is a guarantee for showjumping quality.
Falando’s dam Silandra is a full sister of the 1.60m Grand Prix showjumping horse On Target (by Concorde), performing in the USA under Erin Davis. Grandam Silandra, who jumped at 1.40m level, also produced the national level showjumping horses Aramis (by Abgar xx), Hilandra (by Burggraaf) and Ilandra (by Ufarno).
This family also produced the Grand Prix showjumping horses Vilandro K (Odermus R) ridden by Alexandr Belekhov and Wilandra (by Riverman) ridden by Vadim Konovalov. Great-grandam Landra (by Rigoletto) is famous for being the full sister of the Grand Prix horse Santa Claus.
