When you see Fidelio go, you are immediately convinced by his light-footed canter and jumping and his fine technique. He has a fast take-off and completes the jump nicely. Fine jumping manners were also what distinguished his sire Vingino at a young age and as a 9-yr-old he jumped his first 1.60m Grand Prix. Fidelio, like the 1.35m level showjumping horse Roxette (by Corland) is out of Montreux, who was started at 1.20m level and descends from the famous showjumping horse begetter Indoctro. Grandam Gentille carries the blood of Zuidhorn x Amor and produced, amongst others, the 1.60m level showjumping horse Parland (by Corland), who finished seventh in the Grand Prix of CSI*** Ravensburg 2010 under Claudia Vasall, and the 1.30m level showjumping horse Roko Boy (by Iroko). Gentille is also grandam of the international 1.45m level showjumping horse Ajonge (by Marlon) ridden by Astrid Kneifel from Austria. Also related is the international eventing horse Triviant (by Great Pleasure) ridden by the Irish Ruth Robinson.
