Speaking of a promising horse! On every fence and every show Hylke convinces with his sublime technique, beautiful bascule and brilliant balance in his canter. Last summer he won a class for 4-year-old show jumpers, based on style, in Houten.
Hylke inherits the scope of his sire Spartacus and the reflexes of dam Catalie-H, who scored 80 points for her reflexed on the fence at the KWPN mare inspection. The 7-year-old, international 1.35m show jumper Elegant (Verdi) ridden by Kessy van Berlo is closely related. Great-grandam Atalia produced two 1.30/1.35m show jumpers and is also at the basis of the only seven-years-old, 1.40m jumping Equador W (Canturano) under top rider Henrik von Eckermann.
