For Katania no fence will be too high. She is a horse with an enormously promising future in the top sport. Everyone of her jumps displays enormous power and an amazing hindleg technique and she has a superb canter. Katania was one of the best free jumping mares in 2018 at the KWPN studbook inspection with 85 points and this year she earned a top-20 position in the national Blom Cup finals for 4-yr-old KWPN showjumping horses.

Her sire Mylord Carthago, ridden by Pénélope Leprevost, was considered one of the best showjumping stallions in France and now proves himself as a sire. Katania’s dam Niza VIII (Corofino) earlier produced a 1.45m level showjumping horse: Carleone (Casall) ridden by Matas Petraitis (LTU). Grandam Catania I is known as the half-sister of the 1.60m Grand Prix stallion Cagancho.
