Cobalt is a real eyecatcher; he combines a tough exterior with an amazing jumping power. Cobalt’s father is the legendary Heartbreaker, who, ridden by Peter Geerink, achieved numerous victories during international competitions. Mother Unikaat was sired by Kojak, who is in turn the son of the German top heir, Pit I. Unikaat is an elite, sport mare who jumps in the Z class, and grandmother Piekaat is an elite, preferred sport mare who even competed in the ZZ class. In addition to a very attractive exterior, Cobalt also inherited the impressive reflexes from his father, Heartbreaker. Cobalt is extremely careful and is very powerful. During the stallion selections, Cobalt made it to the 2nd inspection round. Cobalt has already been successful in 1.10 m tracks and given his eagerness to jump and his tremendous power, he shows great promise for the future.
