Being only a 4-yr-old, he is still green, but Kalisto displays such impressive talent that he has more than earned his place in this auction. This rough diamond only needs to mature, he already knows his job as a showjumping horse. And he is good at it! Kalisto is exceptionally careful over the fence, has a powerful take-off and a good use of his body.
His pedigree is also impressive with three top-class sires, Kannan, Quasimodo van de Molendreef and Burggraaf in succession. Dam Gaia is a (half) sister of the 1.45m level showjumping horses Fortza (Quasimodo van de Molendreef) and Unisono (Concorde) and the 1.35m level placed Champion (Ol Metta). Closely related is the 1.60m Grand Prix horse Frasier, auctioned at SOTRS and successful under Dennis van den Brink.
